AULD LANG SYNE — A TRUMPET FANTASY J. S. Cox

This work was originally touted as "A Cornet Fantasy," as arranged by Mr. Cox.  There is no MIDI definition specifically for cornet; as I deemed the MIDI offering for muted trumpet unsuitable, the trumpet has been substituted as soloist.

The music contains three sections of five bars or longer where the soloist is silent; in those areas, continuity is difficult to maintain unless the soloist is a human.  To that end, the MP3 file includes the treble staff of the piano accompaniment during those normally silent periods.
